Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt u0026 pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cream or half-and-half
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Fresh basil leaves

Method
 

  1. Heat oil, sauté garlic and onion 2–3 min.
  2. Add tomatoes, broth, pasta, seasoning; boil, then simmer 10 min.
  3. Stir in cream and Parmesan; cook 2 min.
  4. Top with basil, serve immediately.
